Water and organic thermal clay: our recipe for your health

For more than 2000 years, the treatments based on salt-bromine-iodine thermal water and organic thermal clay represent the most natural and efficient therapy to fight pain and the progression of osteo-articular diseases such as osteoarthrosis, osteoporosis, periarteritis, extra-articular rheumatism, tendinitis, lumbago, fibrositis and fibromyalgia.

What does a mud and bath therapy cycle consist of?

Medical check-up
Before undergoing a mud bath-therapy cycle, you will need to have a check-up carried out by our doctor in our Spa Center to assess that your health conditions allow you undertake thermal therapy. The doctor prescribes the number of sessions, temperature and application time and also provides the therapists with other useful information.
After getting your prescription, go to the SPA Manager who will schedule your daily treatments.

Mud therapy session
Wear your bathrobe and go to the Spa department. You will be sit in your room where organic thermal clay is ready for being applied at the temperature indicated by the doctor. Mud will be spread on your body and, while you will rest under a blanket, these natural elements will work on your body.

Usually the session lasts 15 minutes. If it is not prescribed differently, temperature is between 38/40° C.

Thermal Bath
After a warm thermal shower, immerse yourself in a bathtub filled with thermal water and mixed with ozone.
Enjoy sparkling bubbles of ozone therapy for about 10 minutes. The water temperature is about 36° C.

Therapeutic massage
We recommend having a therapeutic body massage while you are still warm so that the massage will act against contractures and both relax and reactivate muscles.
